PaulaWalla Participates in "Passport to Summer Fun in Windsor" Progam
PaulaWalla Imports is participating in the “Passport to Summer Fun” program organized by the Windsor Chamber of Commerce through the summer.
“I love this program!” says Paula Pierce, owner of PaulaWalla Imports. “It’s a fun way to support local business and I love eating out!”
The Passport program includes twenty five ‘stampable’ pages one for each participating restaurant and attraction in Windsor, Connecticut (and one in Windsor Locks). By going to the restaurants, concerts, farmers’ market and other Passport locations, people can accumulate stamps in their Passport book. When they get 10 stamps they can enter into the prize drawing to win a Flat Screen TV, a Flip Video Camera, or a huge Gift Certificate package (donated by the participating businesses.) If they get all 25 stamps, they also get a $10 Chamber gift certificate usable at over 40 local businesses.
“We’ve chosen to sponsor the Passport program because it does several things to support local business:
- It spreads the word throughout the state about our Windsor Chamber member restaurants and attractions
- It acts as an info booklet with dates, times, hours of operation, etc that come in handy for planning summer activities and
- It’s great advertising for us as there are 5,000 Passports printed and people hold onto them all summer.” says Pierce.
“Passport serves both our member businesses and the community,” says Windsor Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Jane Garibay. “People really love going to all the restaurants, concerts, museums, etc, especially because there’s a chance to win big!” To pick up a Passport, go to the Chamber office at 261 Broad Street,Windsor, CT during working hours or go online to www.WindsorCC.org to see the list of restaurants and attractions participating in the Passport.
PaulaWalla Imports is one of thirteen community-supporting Windsor businesses that have chosen to sponsor the Passport program this year.
