PaulaWalla Imports is an online gift shop specializing in exotic, yes practical international gifts and music based in Windsor, Connecticut. A member of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, PaulaWalla Imports supports the local community and volunteers regularly through Chamber programs.

PaulaWalla donated 24 beautiful blue and white porcelain Chinese Tea Canisters to the Chamber's Red Rose Tea Fair featuring Wade Figurines (Nov 2006) where they were a big hit with the raffle prize winners! In April each year, PaulaWalla donates an item to the Windsor Chamber Benefit Auction.

Paula M. Pierce, owner of PaulaWalla Imports, loves offering practical and fun international household and gift items to those who may not have the chance to travel and for those who would like a little reminder of a country they enjoyed.

She's traveled to many countries herself including France, Switzerland, Mexico, Thailand, India, Nepal, and Hong Kong.

Paula opened PaulaWalla Imports as an online business back in 1997 with a computer, a few international contacts and an entrepreneurial spirit. Since then, the online gift shop has grown quite a bit, has become a Connecticut Limited Liability Company and is in the process of becoming certified by the state of Connecticut as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) as a woman-owned business.

Paula is also the moderator of Windsor Freecycle a local group determined to keep good, usable items out of the landfill. Find your local Freecycle group at http://www.freecycle.org All packaging material received from vendors is re-used, and customers are encouraged to send back the packing materials that comes with their PaulaWalla orders, in exchange for a free gift with their next order or to find a local business that accepts packing peanuts for reuse through the Peanut Hotline.
